--Order posts from Oldest to Newest
--Order posts from Newest to Oldest
*Of course, the default should be what was set in the default Post Settings option (which you guys already have).

This already exists... forum - options - post settings... dont confuse it with the option for ordering the forum topics...

Does this functionality exist for individual users (so they can set their own preference)? I'm a member of a forum that has posts and displays set exactly backwards to everything I'm used to (new topics go to the end of the forum listing and on the topics page it lists newest post first) and it's driving me batty.

yes - Steve was wrong - probably misread the question.
The actual answer is no - not at 'forum' level whether user set or not.
