Might there be a chance of integrating the GD Star Rating plugin with Simple Press?
I use this rating plugin for my articles as well as my comments. The way I've set things up are a little different from what I can do with the rating system in Simple Press. For example I've chosen to show both the positive and the negative votes: [thumb up]+5 [thumb down]-2
This in line with the other great Wordpress comment voting plugin I was using previously 'comment rating'.
GD Star Rating has a lot of geat features which could really complement the Simple Press voting system.

we currently do not have any plans to integrate in that plugin. but with a plugin api and templating system on the plans for v5.0, it might be possible for users to do that using our api...

Thanks for your answer. I guess I'll have to wait for v5.0 then. The api is a great idea by the way. Often I find myself looking for simple press forum add-ons, but then I realize there is no plugin api available, so no plugins.
Anyway, keep up the great work!
