Hello !
I would like to know about the utilization of URL shortening services with Simple-Forums. There are a pretty good plugins to utilize the Short URLs and even using our own shorting service. How better can we utilize them with Simple-Press based forums ?
Yourls : Self hosted shortneing service and integrating it to WordPress Instalaltion
Le Petite Url : It lets us to use our own domain without needing a separate installation or we can use the same main domain .
But.ly : We can use BItly's extension 's or map our own domain

where do you want the shortened url? in your post content?
if so, does your plugin give you a tag (ie function) that you can call and have it process data to apply url shortening to urls within the data? if so, you can check our wiki for custom filters and you can have process them...
