Hi there !
the PMessaging is a nice SPF function indeed...
As WP & SPF login is the same it could be very pleasant and usefull to have the SPF PM inbox displayed on home page of the WP blog...[Image Can Not Be Found] to instantly find new PMs with no need to call for forum page if not needed...
...would it be possible to grab and display that small new PM icon/count elsewhere on the blog ?...I am thinking of a small widgetized call to that SPF function in the homepage sidebar for instance....
Any idea ?

if you mean number of new posts or such, check out the template tags in your online help (spf admin area)... there are a couple that show inbox counts or info..
