I think it would be really cool to be able to (save post as draft)

So if you were writing a long post and you had attachments you wanted to upload but you forgot where they were or you wanted to take a brake you could easily save the post as a draft and comeback when it was convenient to finish the post.

I think this would cut down on the amount of posts being edited after they have been submitted.

I also just wanted to say thank you for all the hard work and focus you guys have put into this amazing forum for Wordpress. I honestly feel like this plugin is going to take my business to the next level.

Thank you!

thanks for the kind words! primary problem with saving as draft is storage... it would have to be stored in a different db table (or ordering would be wrong)... and depending on how people came back to it, could grow larger... but we can add it to the list for consideration...

Awesome Man!

To be completely honest I don't know how you guys have the energy to put all the hard work into this plugin, it's incredible to say the least. After using this forum I have been able to go through and understand the thought process it would take to build such a complex but user friendly forum plugin like this. I can truly appreciate what you guys have done.

Thank you. That is most thoughtful. The project had its gestation way back in 2006 so it has had quite a long life but V5 was a complete and total rewrite from the ground up which took, basically, a year to it's release point. Sometimes - I have to admit - it feels like I do nothing else! And then I get absorbed in some new code or feature and it is most satisfying :)
