sorry to bump this, but is there a way for me to move the mingle forums I have at the moment into simple:press?

yay thanks, I've successfully made my site, though one weird problem for the forum import, is that it recursively adds the forums in, as in, after it adds the first group...when it adds a second group, it puts it *before* the first group (as well as for the forums....) which was a *bit* annoying to redo it all, and put it into the correct forum order.

other than that, it's pretty well done, though there's something that I'd wish to implement into the forum software (though not part of the import process), which I guess I could post it into a new topic but....

-> when shifting around the forums, maybe put a up and down arrow for the forum/groups so you can move them up and down without having to go into the menu

-> when you go into the menu anyways (i.e. looking at where to put the forums) (this is only a forums problem)

say there's 4 forums

[forum 1]

[forum 2]

[forum 3]

[forum 4]

and you wanted to move "forum 4" to position 2, the options currently don't let you put it there, as the options would be like

"Position Before forum 1" {this would put it to where forum 1 is}

"Position After forum 2"  {this would put it to where forum 3 is}

"Current position: forum 3" {this would let it just do nothing}

Notice however, there is NO OPTION to put it to where forum 2 currently is

-> mass updating the group permissions en-masse (like editing how the forums should be, like, for example you added all the forums before applying any real permission, and/or importing it from another old forum) is a bit of a pain, because it refreshes the page and takes you out of the menu, etc.

-> possibly a way for there to be sub groups ("Sub Categories" as other forums will call it) as sometimes I'd prefer to make forums under a "sub group" rather than a sub forum, but I'd rather not a sub forum, as I don't want people to post in it {not really too important}

not exactly sure, I just know that after all the posts+category/group+forums were added, all the groups were actually reversed {just re-explaining it...in case I wasn't clear}

such as/for example:

Announcements

-> Blog

-> Feedback

General

-> General Forum

-> Games

-> Movie

would be changed to:

General

-> Movie

-> Games

-> General Forum

-> Blog

Not sure entirely why it'll do that though... maybe the first group gets changed (for example) from ID 1 to ID 2 or something? (idk)
