Just an idea: more (font) customization options.

It's what I would love to have on simple:press 🙂
Maybe contact the maker and hire him for simple:press? 😉
since we dont run bbpress no real way to tell what it does.. but you can easily change any font you want in simple press via a custom sp theme... you have complete control over most any string or section of strings...

Basically it gives you a screenshot of a standard forum and it numbers all the different areas. Then you can find the numbers listed and it gives you the option to choose font, font size etc 🙂
I have my own theme, unfortunately, and limited knowledge of css etc so that's not an option for me.
