The anchor for linking to a post (<a id="p[postID]"></a>) is at the top of the content, but if you have the "Display User Info Above Post" set to true in Post Settings, the user information is above the viewing area, so you have to scroll up to see who the post is from.
Can the anchor be moved to the beginning of the user info block?

interesting nobody has ever mentioned this before. yeah, the anchor is added in the routine that outputs the post content. we would have to move it with some additional checks, but should be possible.
Let me open a ticket to get it added to 4.2
