what's the issue?
you click on it and it loads up the post... or you right click and copy permalink...

There is no issue, I would just like when we click the little icon that the link is also copied to clipboard. Handy when you want to point someone to a post, you only have to paste. I use the right-click method for now, it was a suggestion.

oh, read your title the other direction... alas, there is not a good, cross browser or machine (ie, linux, pc, mac, etc) way of copying data to the clipboard...
