I'm not sure if there's a way to do this already, but I did a search of the forums and couldn't find anything. Basically I was wondering if there was a way to generate a link for a public profile for different users. What we want to do on our site is to reward useful and well written forum posts by upgrading them to our blog and then on the blog we can link to their public profile. Is there an existing way to do this?

public profile?? each user gets their own profile page... and generally the profiles are viewable by all though there is a permission you can set as to who can view profiles... that would be on forum - permissions - manage permissions

Ah, ok. That'll do! I was looking in the profiles section for this. I suppose if we get a regular quality poster, we can simply make their account into an author one if we ever wanted to beef it up. Thanks!
