For a future version, or perhaps as a plugin, it would be very useful to have some ways to manipulate and analyze user statistics. As someone shepherding a brand-new community, I need ways to track these things so I can focus efforts on things like encouraging new members to post for the first time, complete their profile, and so on.
As a precursor to full-fledged reporting, one thing that would be very useful would be if the columns on the Users > Member Information page were sortable, so that, at the very least, one could group everyone who has never posted, or organize folks by date joined or last posted. That would make it easier to reach out to those users to remind them to participate.
Thanks!

We have had an open ticket for improved stats for awhile now. Just has not been a lot or requests for it so lower priority. We will get to it eventually. It would make a fairly easy plugin for someone to write. It's mostly db access and displaying. Maybe someone will beat us to it.

I'm surprised it's not a more popular request... managing member communication and activity en mass is very time-consuming as is.
Is there a page on the site with the development roadmap? I'd love to see what future plans are, and where this feature sits on the list.
Thanks again!

It would be nice to be able to generate some user reports. A plugin to do so would probably be the best way to go. Maybe even a plugin that allows you to export an xls file would be helpful.
Regarding a road map. All reasonable requests, issues and reports are added to a tracking program at http://mantis.simple-press.com.....g_page.php.
When added they are assigned a category as to importance. IE, should be in next version, a future request, an enhancement, etc. The tracking program can be a little daunting when first browsing it because of all the different ways you can display the 'tickets' but with a little practice one can see what has been requested often or lately and what is most important - bug fixes vs enhancements for example.
