Your Search is so advanced, so it could become a replacement for default WP search, so how about adding option to search in posts and pages, and maybe also to exclude some words in search results?

The first part is a goal - not sure about the second... it could overburden the query...
Anyway - there is an open ticket for this

also how about template tag (or even widget later) for searching in forum?

I think if and when we do manage to include blog posts/pages then this would flow as a natural feature. I am reluctant to do that now as it might suggest to an end user that it is site-wide which would be misleading.

How about making WordPress' search widget dig into Forum posts as well? Is this possible in some way? I'd love that feature! 🙂

not currently possible though we have it on our to do list - or at least to come up with our search that will search all.
