I may have asked this long ago but can't find the topic if I did. So I apologize if it has been addressed. And if such a feature has already been implemented, iI haven't found an Admin option for turning it on.
When viewing the list of all posts within a topic, it would be very handy to have a small Admin Tools icon at the top, with access to Topic level functions such as Rename Topic, Lock Topic, etc. The only Admin tools available (if shown) in Topic view are for changing attributes of specific posts. Trying to edit Topic attributes is difficult from this view because clicking the Topic link in the breadcrumbs will redirect to the most recent posts in that topic (as it should). This can be quite a challenge on old topics. The only solution I have found is to search for the topic, and change its attributes from Admin tools icon shown in the the search results view.
Perhaps the Admin Tools icon – small wrench for us, Structured Tan skin – could be added in the Title bar of each topic next to the "Print this topic" icon. Hint, hint, nudge, nudge...
Thanks for the consideration!
