Simple:Press File Manage Browser - Was wondering if you guys would consider putting the upload tab before browse tab since usually a user goes to that window to upload something and after the upload the pic they have to browse anyways to select it.

Another thing that would be ideal is having the preview button down where the send button is. Please please please adjust these features, I'd bet I'm not the only one who woul dbe grateful [Image Can Not Be Found]

PS - if you don't agree, can you please let us loyal followers at least know how we can do this on our own?

Thanks!

dont think its possible to move the preview button down by the save... the preview button is a tinymce toolbar button and the save is not part of tinymce... so cant think of a way to do that...

you would have to edit a file for the start on upload - but I like the idea... open up simple-forum/editors/tinymce/plugins/filemanager/fm-tinymce.js.php and on line 10 replace

filemanagerbrowse

with

filemanagerupload

I will see if I can get it into an option for 4.2... pretty simple to do...

Ah ic.. so there's no other way to call that preview feature? It's definitely not the best place for it. That's too bad.

But I'm excited about moving the tabs around! It's going to be great. The only problem is that when I go to simple-forum....plugins>filemanager>fm-tinymce.js.php all I see on line 11 (nothing on 10) is this:

$tbpath = pathinfo($_SERVER['SCRIPT_NAME']);
$fmBrowseTab =$tbpath['dirname'] . "/fm-browse-tab.php";
$filemanager['obfuscate'] = wp_generate_password(20);

make sure you grab a db copy first... handful of folks have had some issues upgrading but not the vast majority...

Goto Admin > Forum > Configuration > Storage Locations...
Do your upload folders exist (image, media and file) and can they be written to?
We have fixed the display of the error message in 4.2 beta 2 vut this is the likely cause. (Although curious that this is reported in the 'Feature Requests' forum!!!)

I posted it in this thread since the issue has to do with my original question [Image Can Not Be Found]

This error happened because of Mr. Papa's advice to "change fm-browse-tab.php to fm-upload-tab.php"

After changing it back the error went away.
