In WordPress, there exists the ability to edit the time stamps of posts and pages. Also, the ability exists to reassign a post or page from one user to another. This comes in very handy as I have a few very interesting users who are not very savvy when it comes to posting. Thus, I get emails from them with requests to make the posts in their behalf. It would be grand if SPF could tap into these WP abilities. These abilities, of course, would need to be limited to the administrators of SPF.
I am not sure why we would want to tap into the wp abilities. sounds like you would simply like a way to assign a topic to another user. I can open a ticket for future consideration.
you can already edit the timestamp though it doesnt affect ordering as ordering is done by post id to greatly improve performance.

If the time stamp doesn't alter the ordering then it's probably not that big a deal. The ability of an admin to create a post while logged in as the admin and assign the post to another is something that would be very handy. That is the feature I'd rather have the ticket opened for.
It is what the ticket says. We will not be modifying the sort order on id vs timestamp.
