No problem. I also did fill some translation stuff on your localization page. It´s just fair ;)

Were you able to take a further look on this fatal error thing in connection with that “BlogPost Linking” thing? Another question would be, wheather I´d be allowed to give your files to Paul Gibbs – the guy who made the achievements Plugin but on the other hand I think you´d not like to see that for it will perhaps be a future member plugin for SP, right?

No I haven’t been able to look into the blog linking situation as yet. If nothing else you have kept me pretty busy these last few days :)

I would rather you did not pass the file onto Mr Gibbs. He is seriously dismissive of Simple:Press – had no interest in supporting it and if we ever had to talk I would feel I had to be critical of his plugin which is not up to the standard I would expect from someone in his position. Try un-installing it for example… But yes – it will also join the SP plugin library.

Why uninstall? I won´t give the files out of my hand if you don´t want that. Be sure.

It was only one criticism I am afraid I had – but I would have hoped for an uninstall option somewhere that would remove all of the data. As we do have with Simple:Press and which any decent plugin should have. Having to manually trawl through various database tables to remove plugin data is just bad design and implementation.

Okay as the Achievements Plugin is now aviable as member plugin, I have to say, that the issue win connection with the blog post linking is still there (white page after for example adding a new Event or Blogpost) until F5 is pressed.

The Blog Linking plugin is dependent upon the forthcoming Simple:Press 5.5.1 update and as such has not yet been released.

are you sure you are running the released v1.0.0??  not sure that error message on that line of code makes any sense…  did Andy provide a pre-release version?

but wonder if Andy’s comment in post 39 answers this…  there was a change in blog linking but we cannot release it yet until 5.5 releases (hopefully next weekend)…

But what was the operation that caused the error? Was it using blog linking? If yes then as Steve said – we have already covered that above. If not then what? We certainty do not use the WP Post object anywhere else to the best of my knowledge.

Still the same after todays update, on adding a new blog post/ achievement/event

Fatal error: Cannot use object of type WP_Post as array in /www/…/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-plugins/achievements/library/sp-achievements-component-class.php on line 45

Pleas take a look at this!

I have looked. Several times. I am totally unable to replicate any issues. Where do you even see this error message?

We do not directly use the WP Post array except in actions where needed. And there isn’t even any code on line 45 of that file….
