Is it possible to set up the simple press forum so I the admin can see all of the post but each individual user can only see their posts and my replys?

Please help!

A forum Admin can ALWAYS see all posts. As an Admin they are not subject to any permissions or restrictions. So that answers the first part.

Via User Groups and Permission Sets you can set up an infinite number of permutations that can restrict anything from one user to all users from seeing forums. However, this is at 'forum' level. Your question seems to suggest you want this at topic level and that we don't do.

Given the topic and the question. I have a handy solution for you.

Set two forums for this purpose, Forum1 and Forum2.

Forum1 is the guest/member viewable forum where the question and answer both appear, set this forum to read only.

Forum2 should be listed as invisible to all but moderators, BUT it is selected under Options > Tags as the default forum for the sf_ad_new_topic_tag tag which you place in your sidebar.

When a new topic is added to Forum2, it's hidden from all but your moderators. When the appropriate responce is generated as part of that topic, move the topic to Forum1.

Although I have not tried this myself, this should perform all of the functions you are asking for.

What do you exactly mean with forum 1 and 2? If I understand it correct it's still the same directory/page?

I would like to have a second forum. I now have one forum for my staff and I would like to set up a second forum for support. Would this be possible with this plugin?

it would be on the same page, but only visible to certain folks - those with proper permissions. you can most definitely setup multiple forums with different accesses. for example, on our main support-forum page, you dont see all our staff forums because we have limited access.
