and the latest plugin updates requiring version 5.5.4 - 5.5.9

how is that confusing? the plugins simply list the minimum required sp versions... 5.5.11 is greater than all you listed, so they are supported...

OfflineNope, all updates will be available to you for what you have even after your membership expires. To get updates, check the WP updater - The cycle / refresh logo in the top bar of your WP admin panel with the number next to it, or check your plugins list under Forum > Plugins as each one that needs an update will have a red background and a link
