If it is not there already, our users will soon see Simple:Press version 5.6 available in the WordPress update page alongside updates to our themes and a large number of our plugins. Please note that these are all interdependent so if you update the core Simple:Press you will need to update themes and plugins as well.
Not much to say that wasn't said last week except to remind users with custom themes based upon Unified and Reboot that there are changes needed to their style files. The best information and links are in the previous post which you can read here.

What ever translation you have set will remain in place... if any new strings were added to core, plugins or themes, you may need to update the translation... all our stuff has been updated on our glotpress site and any new strings are ready for translation...

Hello!
I have a question about update (sorry if this is not the right topic to ask). I have tried to update my SP as always (in plugins page) and than I went to Forum -> Update Simple:Press. It says there that Iam attempting to downgrade and won't let me continue. Plugins page is still offering me SP update, but it says that I currently have "old" version 5.6 and its possible to update to 5.6 Build 13657
Any ideas what might went wrong? Or tips to solve this issue so forum is accessible again?
Wordpress is updated to 4.4
Thank you for your time.

in both cases, it would also show you the build info which is more critical than the version...
did the updated version download and install right? just not the upgrade?
