 Hello,

I love your forum plugin, it looks great. I have a few quesitons before purchasing membership. I need to know does the full features fits my needs.

1. After loging to forum with either social services or registration by email... Is Wordpress dashboard visible to user? If it is, is there an option to hide it because I don't want my users to know I'm running Wordpress?

2. I'm using frontend upload section on my website so users can login and post their own articles. It is restricted area for non members. Right now, I'm using UserPro plugin by Codecanyon for social login and registration. So, if user first logs in to my other section of website using his FB account, does he needs to login again when he wants to use Simple Press forum and vice versa?

3. For new user registration, is it possible to create some kind of custom registration form? Again, I don't want WP registration panel to popup to new users, I can see in your demo that you have WP login..

4. If user register his account via email, does he stays logged in for other portions of my site? Are users collected in the same datebase?

Looking forward for your answers!

1 - yes access to the wp admin can be blocked...

2 - unfamiliar with that registration plugin... but there is no log in to the forum..  you log into wp... as a plugin for wp, we piggy back off the users, login and registration of wp... so if that plugin logs into wp, then you will be good to go for the forum too..

3 - again, we dont do registrations, wp does... there are lots of plugins out there that do custom registrations for wp...any of those should work...  we offer the ability to remove our login/registration buttons (actually for wp forms) or redirect them to pages of your choice...

4 - hate to sound like broken record, but users and logging in are the purview of wp... so however you log into wp, you will be good to go for the forum...

hope that helps..

Yep, you first answer did answer all my questions! :) Thank you so much! One other question, is it possible to integrate AdSense inside forum? Between topics for example?

Hey Mario,

AdSense isn't one I'm familiar with but I know some forum members have used it with success in the past - just doing a forum search.

Take a look at this entry from the FAQ, it should be pretty straight forward to implement, and of course we are on the support forum to help if there were any setup queries.

I'm interested in buying too, and have one related question.

"we offer the ability to remove our login/registration buttons"

How does this exactly work? I have a custom login system, can I remove those 2 buttons from the entire forum?

Yes, you can remove the login / registration buttons from the head template. This template is always displayed so you will be removing the login /registration buttons throughout the forum.

in addition to removing them,  you could also have them redirect to your specific pages...

Hello.

I´m sorry but I didn´t find anywhere an option to remove login / registration buttons.

Also, I tried to redirect user when clicks on register button in the access and register - Components options, inserting the site url for registration, and it didn´t work. They are sent to wordpress user registration page.

How could I do to remove these buttons? Is to modify the template necessary?

Thanks in advance.
