I have set groups to have access to view, post and reply to topic. I know the permission are correct because they can view the forum but when they reply they are present with an access denied pop up.
Where in the admin area can I see who has access to which areas specifically?

A good place to start would be in the Codex - See Getting Started - Controlling Access. This gives you a good run down on how the permissions and user access works.
As you apply the permissions sets to user groups directly within 'Manage Groups and Forums' there's no real map of who can do what, but if you were to log in as a user part of a user group you wanted to check, you can always view the permissions available directly within the forum itself under Profile > Permissions.
As the title suggests though - this forum is for 'Pre Membership' queries only. We can't answer support questions here. For further help please open up a topic in our support forum.
