Hi Guys,

I'm an ex-member after previously using the plugin successfully for a client a few years ago.

What I would like to know is why your forum plugin appears above the 'header' for the WP Theme -  Solitudo?? Instead of sitting on a page in the content area.

http://themeforest.net/item/so.....n=solitudo

If you can let us know, and then I'ld be willing to repurchase support for growing a new forum. The theme developers have said to contact the plugin developers. If the plugin isn't going to work full stop, then there is no point in me purchasing another years support for nothing.

Thanks.

Pass on that specific theme. But most usually when this happens it is down to the theme doing something a little non-standard which is why we have the display options on the page and permalink admin panel to try and offset these theme idiosyncrasies.

Thanks Yellow Swordfish,

When you say display options on the page, do you mean an option to now include the forum in the 'content' section of a 'forum' page?

I remember the permalink options, it's just getting the forum actually seated within the framework of the site, header above, sidebar, footer etc.

Thanks.

by default, the forum content appears in the content section of the page... sometimes, themes and plugins double use that content filter and output it twice, which is bad...  the options Andy alluded to will allow you to deal with the theme oddness...
