This is because the default theme that comes free with Simple Press isn't responsive.
We currently have 2, soon to be 3 responsive themes available in the store, Unified and Reboot which you can purchase individually or as part of a bundle..
Mobile themes don't have to be specifically enabled to work though, that option just allows you to use different themes for desktop and mobile.

worth adding that a mobile responsive simple press theme will also only truly work provided your wp theme is responsive as well...

However my wp theme is responsive and i need that black-gold because it fits really nice with my current wp theme color / style. But since it's not responsive i'm not able to use SP on my site.

OfflineWe don't unfortunately, not at this time.
I also don't think there is anything quite like Black Gold for Default in either Unified or Reboot, however Unified has a Midnight overlay that's pretty close. Although it's blue rather than gold, it wouldn't take much to customise it in a child theme using the same hex colours as Defaults Black Gold overlay.
We provide all the information you need to do that in our Codex, and we also supply the child theme frameworks for free in the store.
And, if you didn't want to do the work yourself we also offer a custom theme service where we could knock up the overlay for you.

If i'm able to change the blue color with yellow/gold just working on (bulk) replace of colors it shouldn't be a problem.

As I see you now have a Platinum membership you have access to the two responsive themes, so personally think as I've said enabling Unified running Midnight overlay under mobile theme would be the best place to start for a good match.
Please take a look at Creating a Child Theme to get started, all you would need is the Unified child theme framework and to then copy the Midnight overlay to your child themes styles > overlays folder - In Unified there are 6 $baseColor's in the overlay which are used throughout the theme, so you can easily change the blue for the same gold the default Fools Gold overlay uses.
