how to add signature..??

I have noticed that there lies an option for signature under users -> members -> edit ->profile -> edit signature. 

But no options to upload the image for the signature has been given question . please let me know how to add one in my profile. (given i am the sp-admin)

Hey hya,

You can access your personal signature settings in your forum profile, from the forum front end itself - Profile > Profile (tab) > Edit Signature. However, you will need the File Uploader with Plupload in order to upload images directly.

However although you can't upload images, as standard you can add images hosted elsewhere on the web using HTML img tags in the signature editor window.
