We do have an image, file and media uploader which will cater for uploading files to your server as attachments to posts (the best way) although your users can, of course, already embed external images without the plugin.
Please see: https://simple-press.com/features/

As Andy said, you will need the file uploader plugin for SP... file uploading is not part of core Simple Press but available as an addon plugin...

I find no option for the image to be displayed instead of the link. This is what appears when I share the URL of the image. Can you help?

WordPress does not natively support embedding images from FaceBook albums and nor can the WordPress display mechanisms natively interpret those links as images as they are not standard image urls.

However there are WordPress plugins that enable this althpu8gh I have never tried any of them. https://wordpress.org/plugins/.....-facebook/ is one example. You can then use a shortcode to embed the link. If you try this make sure you add support for that shortcode in th forum admin options.

I would actually be interested to know if that works but I see no reason why it should not of the plugin works as advertised.
