I use s2member Pro as my membership plugin.  How difficult will it be for me to integrate their user profiles with the user profiles in your Simple Press plugin?  Can it do it without extensive coding?  I need something that is friendly to non-coders, although I'm perfectly capable of copying and pasting a shortcode if that is the fix.

please see:  https://simple-press.com/docum.....ip-plugin/

there are numerous folks using the two together...  just have to configure membership levels to match wp roles...

if you require further assistance, please open topic in the support forum vice pre membership queries...

WOW that was FAST response!!

Okay another question if you don't mind, about calendars and events.

Do you have an extension or something that handles the following setup:

I have 3 levels of membership - free, paid, and leaders

  • I want Free members to be able to view that there is an event in their area, but they can't click on it to see the event details.
  • Paid members can click on event details and sign up for events, but can't create events.
  • Leaders can create, edit, and delete events.

I would also like to incorporate a couple of other things - can you recommend something compatible with your plugin to handle the following:

Auctions - so that my members can sell their used curriculum and supplies - again, free members can see and buy, but only paid members can list for sale

Peer reviews - This is so that vendors who want to get in front of my members can have their products reviewed by my members (I don't do paid reviews, and I don't offer paid ads on my site).  Or would this better be handled in a dedicated forum discussion?

I woul

a bit confused by your questions... simple press is a forum plugin for WordPress..  as such, we do forums...

not sure what you mean by events and what an event actually is..  sounds like you are using another wp plugin for events???  you could of course, make an event be a new forum topic (or post) and can use permissions for who can see or do what with the event..  however, there really isnt any concept of singing up for an event within a forum post...  There are numerous other plugins for wp that do calendars or event functionality...

same for auctions...  not sure how that would be done in a forum...

peer reviews of what?  forum posts?  we do have a plugin which allows users to rate a forum post...
