Support Forum
I was wondering if it's possible to integrate the Digital Access Pass (DAP) membership site software with a simplepress forum in this way...
I don't want NON-members of my paid membership site to be able to view the content in my forum. In other words, the only way they can view forum threads, start a forum thread, or reply to a forum thread is if they are a paid member of my membership site (that is protected with DAP).
The people at DAP say this isn't possible with any of the free forum software and is only possible with the paid Xenforo software but I'm hoping someone has figured out how to make this work.
Thank you very much.
Yes it shouldn't be a problem. I don't have any personal experience with DAP but from my understanding you will need to make sure DAP is set to sync it's users with WordPress. As Simple:Press works with WordPress users not unique Simple:Press users - If you don't sync then SP and DAP will have no link.
We have had quite a few users who use DAP with SP, and in fact one who claimed:
"According to the DAP support documentation, they fully integrate with Simple:Press"
But of course you might want to look that up for yourself before going ahead.
Hope that helps!
