I installed SimplePress on a site that's part of a multisite network. Everything looks fine except it's showing members from other sites. Is there a way to filter the member list so it only shows members registered on the current site?
each network install is unique with simple press... this behavior would imply that those 'other' users are part of that network too... some plugins force users to be members of all network sites...

- When I view the user list in the standard WordPress admin under "Users", it does NOT show the users from the other sites. This indicates that those users are NOT members of the current site.
- When I view the user list in the SimplePress admin, it does not show those users either. This confirms that they are not members of the current site.
- However, the external users DO show up in the following SimplePress non-admin areas:
- Member Stats
- Newest Members
- /forum/members page, in the "No Memberships" group.
Therefore, I have to conclude that this is a bug, since it's not properly filtering the member list in the SimplePress non-admin areas.
Which still implies the same conditions that Mr Papa mentioned above. Simple:Press can clearly see those WordPress users and is being invoked on new user registrations. I do not personally know enough about MS to make a call on it - Mr Papa is our MS 'man' - but I will go with his assertion. This is helped by the fact we have a large number of MS users none of whom have made this claim.
This is not a support forum but if you would like to give us a list of the other plugins you have active I am sure Mr Papa would investigate a bit further when he returns at the weekend.

well, not ready to yell but yet... I cannot duplicate this behavior on my multisite test site... which runs no extra wp or ms (or wpmu) plugins... that said, without more info, cannot deny it could be bug either, but as Andy says, no other sp users of wp multisite are reporting similar...
would be happy to dig into further with you, but afraid this is a pre sales forum and not for support...
