Hi!

Nice support you have here!

I like the answers, starting with "yes"... laugh

Here are some more questions, please...

1. Can i change the smileys to custom ones (code and grafx).

2. Plugin "Syntax Highlight": Can i add my own language?

3. Plugin "UserBan": Can i ban users for emails and registration, e.g "*.trashmail.com"

Hey Petrocelli,

Yes you can add your own custom smilies, although not sure about code - they are added via the editor.

I'm not sure on the possibility of adding a new language to the syntax highlighter, what did you have in mind? The available languages you can enable are:

apache
applescript
asm
bash-script
bash
basic
clang
css
diff
html
java
javascript
lisp
ooc
plain
php
python
ruby
sql
yaml

As for bans, not really sure I understand the question. You can ban users via IP, hostname or useragent specifically for the forum. Hostname comes closest to what I think you're asking but the examples given are:

Add Hostname Ban

This will ban access to the forum by hostname. A hostname is any portion of the fully qualified domain the user is visiting from. Enter a hostname to ban with one range per line.  Wildcards (*) are permitted. One entry per line – examples *.cn, *.ru

Hope that helps!

As it's not on the list, as I said I'm not sure on the possibility of adding it - will need to hear from Andy or Steve on that.

However, it will still allow you to add whatever code you want to a post, it will maintain it's integrity in plain text and nicely space things out in rows, it just won't pick up on relevant syntax and colour code. At least that is my understanding, as I said best to wait for further confirmation there..

MQL? is that the metaweb query stuff?

Unless you have specific syntax highlighting that you want to do, I would try Ike's suggestions and see if one of the defined languages gets you what you want...

since the actual highlighting code is a third party piece of software, and we dont speak MQL, we cannot really update it... you might look in the plugin files and you can create your own brush if you know a bit of js...
