Support Forum
Hi there,
I am using GoDaddy Hosted Wordpress Version 4.4. Just purchased a Unified Theme and I can upload the zip file but unable to install it. The following message appears.
Unpacking the package…
Installing the plugin…
The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.
Plugin install failed.
Well of course Unified is not a plugin but an SP theme and as such needs to located in the correct pp;ace. Please see:
https://simple-press.com/docum.....ng-themes/
for details - or use the SP theme upload option from the forum admin.

thank you! I have another problem. I tried to upload the plugin "Blog-linking" but the following message keep popping out:
The folder name of this plugin has become corrupted - probably due to multiple downloads. Please remove the -4 at the end of the folder name. The proper folder name should be blog-linking

I have renamed the folder name to blog-linking many times but still unsuccessful.
What folder name are you editing? It does need to be the installed folder:
/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-plugins/blog-linking/

I edited the name on the blog-linking.zip folder. Anyway I can uninstall the plugin and install again?
Changing the name on the blog-linking.zip won't affect what the install folder is called, the reason you have numbers is because blog-linking.zip is used multiple times to install to the same place.
If you can completely uninstall it then yes a reinstall I think should work, but you could also just access your folder via FTP and change the name manually using the path Andy provided above to navigate to the right place:
/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-plugins/blog-linking/
