I currently have a Windows server. I read online that Wordpress isn't designed for a Windows server and there will always be glitches especially with plugins. So before I get a Linux server I just wanted to ask if you are aware of people having glitches with Simple:Press on Windows Server?
I am not really the best person to ask. @mr-papa almost certainly has more knowledge in this area than I do but he is still away for a day or two longer.
I DO know that many people do have problems getting WordPress successfully up and running on the platform but at the same time I also know that we have, or have had, people using Windows Server with success. I am just unsure of the problems they may have encountered along the way.
The best suggestion I have is to try it. It costs nothing to try it!

Thanks Yellow Swordfish. I gave it a try but I can't even get Wordpress working. I think I will be able to fix it but maybe its not worth it if more problems will come up later. I'm a noob so just using Wordpress, even without problems, will be hard enough.
people do use WordPress with windows servers... to say its not designed for it is not quite correct... but some users do have issue due to mainly to misconfigured server... but fair number of folks... and properly coded plugins shouldnt care either... we have users on windows servers with WordPress and Simple:Press...
but personally, I would rather have a linux server...
