Simple:press Plugins

I downloaded simple:press to give it a try for my wordpress site, but I see that it comes without some of the BASIC forum tools like a WYSYG editor and image uploader. Now I see that I would need to add extra plugins for those features – but I cannot do so unless I subscribe for $39 which I simply cannot afford.

That being said it is a good product and I am happy to pay for the effort that has gone in to it –

Is there any way of purchasing individual plugins rather than the whole support package?

Unfortunately at the moment, the package is the only option. I believe we are currently looking at the possibility of re-working the sales model, but there is no time frame attached to this I’m afraid. That being said, the silver membership does provide a whole lot more than just the two plugins you mentioned, well worth it.

Sorry we cannot help more on this at the moment.

And secondly, if I DO subscribe for two months or a year, when that period expires will the plugins stop working?

No, all the plugins will be yours to keep and use, also you will still be able to update the plugins through the WordPress updater after your membership expires, as we release updates.

The only thing that you won’t be able to do, is download new plugins that are released after your membership expires.
