Is there an addon to make Simple:Press into a help desk.  Where clients can enter questions and mark posts as  private replies to staff with sensitive data?  Also, tags that show questions resolved on topics?

depends on exactly what you want... please peruse our store - most plugins have info and screenshots...

the private posts plugin lets users mark a post as private where only they an admins can read...

the answers topic plugin lets admins or users mark a post as the answer to the topic...

the unanswered topics plugin (as well as the admin bar plugin) allows you to see topics that have not been answered by an admin yet...

the topic status plugin can be used to assign a status (ie resolved, in work, pending, etc) to topics in your forum...

certainly other ones can help as well...
