I just wanted to know if your software supports WPML. I was not able to find information regarding WPML support in your site. I want the interface to change its language depending on the preference of the users. I hope this is possible. Thanks.
Not WPML as such. We do offer a language switcher which can be displayed on the forum page that enables a user to switch to any language that the forum has been set up for. That means that those language packs need to be installed of course.
I know it is obvious but worth stating – this is not going to change the language of the actual forum posts of course.
Thank you for the detailed answer. Can the language also be automatically changed depending on the language of the website? For example, if the website is in english then the forum is also in english and if the website is in other language then the forum is also in that language. I am planning to use WPML to make my site multi lingual, would be nice if the language of the forums is the same as language of the website without user intervention.
I assume it is not hard to implement what I mentioned above, I hope to see the implementation in the future. Anyway, thank you for the quick reply.
Unknown. It rather depends on how WPML identifies the potential languages. If it ties into WP codes then it might be possible but if not then the opposite is probably the case. And I rather get the idea that WPML is pretty non-standard in that respect.
