Simple forum is the plugin that pushed me to move from to Drupal to Wordpress for this particular site, a legion site for an upcoming mmorpg. Support is spectacular, and I love the flexibility. It's almost as good as phpbb and integrates much much nicer. Click here for a link to the forum, and here for a demonstration of using forum avatars inside blog posts. on the list for consideration in 3.2 (but still unknown if it gets in) is sub forums... that would give you

Nice site - I love the header. SP is awesome, isn't it? It took me a good 4 hours to integrate and skin that other forum software. SP took about 5 seconds to install, it was effortless!
