Minor modifications include the addition of facebook and youtube badges in the navigation bar (next to twitter and RSS), Templates on some pages to remove the sidebar, make the page full width, and remove the comments and author areas.

If I might make a suggestion... perhaps try some of the other skins, such as smoke or smoke chrome... and the ash icon set... might match your wp theme a bit better.. all a matter of preference...

Your right, i changed it to smoke-chrome and like that alot better.
Ash i like with the exception of 2 things.
Every button seems to be accompanied by a text link too, and in many cases this looks odd to me, sometimes making buttons appear un-aligned. Is there any way to remove the text links?
The RSS buttons are generic buttons, anyway to change just the RSS button to the default (orange icon)?
If these 2 things are easy enough that i could change them with a little guidance, then ill probably use ash instead of the default icon/button set.

Go to Admin > Forum > Options > Styles. Just beow the icon set is a boc you can check to strip the labels for all unnecessary buttons.

Using ash now the only problem i have is the RSS buttons are kinda plain and id like to use the default orange ones with ash if possible, any way i can change that?
Im only asking because the rest of my site uses the default ones, so i want to try to match it to the rest of my site. Thanks.

the image files are all named the same, so just copy the ones you like and paste over the ones you dont like...
I would suggest creating a custom icon set though to keep from losing changes on upgrades...

Easy as pie, just created another folder in icons, called it custom, copied all the ash contents to it, then copied over the rss icons i wanted and over wrote the ash ones. Uploaded the folder to my web server, set the icon set to custom and bam!
