Thanks to Andy for the assistance in helping a newbie...

My forum is now up and running at http://www.fitaholic.com/forum/

I really want to make members profile pictures and names show up at the bottom of the forum page, so if anyone can help please email me so that it is taken offline.  trainer@fitahoic.com

Also Andy do you do any outside consulting work with your forum?

*This is the best forum out there.  I have been amazed at forums that are offered by other sites for as much as $200 with yearly dues.  This forum plugin is professional, creative, and well thought out.  -thank you

please elaborate on your desire to show members profile pictures and names at the bottom of the forum page comment?

by profile picture, do you mean Avatar?  All members?  on all forum pages?  currently logged in members?

A little more details please...

Not a problem.  I didn't want to go into too much detail and have my thread deleted.

If you go to this site and see how their site shows Newest members (and number) and thier new members proifle pics with brief bio, this is exactly what I need and my webdesigner can not do this, it is out of his realm of expertise.  The site is http://fittracker.shapefit.com/  you do not need to register to see what I am looking for.

Thank you for taking a gander.

I am afraid I still dont really understand what you want to do...  At the bottom of every WP page or bottom of every forum page?  or just the main forum page?  you want to list some number of newest members?  all members?  random # of members?

and you want to show their simple:press forum avatar (which might be a gravatar)?  that site shows it has 57000+ members but only five images...

You probably dont want to do this via the forum plugin, but instead through a template page modification which might actually call a forum plugin template tag...

sorry if I am missing something obvious here...

sorry for being unclear...

On my main forum page underneath my last group it says rss, and then it has a section with statistics about currently online, forums, members, and top posters.  Inbetween the rss and the statistics section I want to add "Fitaholic's Newest Members! (133 Total Members)" and directly underneath that I wish to add pictures and brief bio of the last 5 members added to the forum.

This is to only show up on the page http://www.fitaholic.com/forum

WHY?  the most important thing to new clients are members and their own journeys, by seeing immediately total members and the new members photos (i encourage members to use their fitness photo for thier avatar) with their brief bio you immediately gain trust of a potential new member.

Does this explain it better?  and is this something that can be done?  How much of a charge would we be looking at to do this?

Thank you so much for taking the time...

You need to plug into the forum hooks. Either

sf_hook_footer_inside()

or

sf_hook_footer_outside()

If your guy can write the code then that is where t write it so that it dsiplays in the area you want.

not that it matters much here, but actually, after some consultation offline, its going to be:

sf_hook_group_header()

but yes, some unique code is going to be required…
