Support Forum
Hi friends,
I was running the Simple Forum for my retirement forum where people browse for the retirement help topics. I am not a techie but just helping out seniors and boomers like me to learn from each other.
Recently I noticed that I need to upgrade my Simple Forum plugin to Simple Press Forum and I was scared if I can do it or not. Finally I did it and it was really easy.
Here is the forum link for the Forum members to share their suggestions for further improvement:

Since I am not a techie, I would appreciate if you could explain your suggestions or ideas in a non-techie way.
Looking forward for your suggestions and ideas and BTW, the Simple Press Forum rocks!
Thanks for the great product,

Its a very nice start and integrates well into your site...
Now its time to do any specific customizations you want... such as custom icons or what not...
I do see one error where something called socialize.js is loaded twice... hard to see much though since you seem to have disabled right clicking via js on your site...
I also dont seem to see a guest avatar...
the font size might be at tad small... you would need to create your own sp theme to make some tweaks (http://codex.simple-press.com/.....g-a-theme/)

Thanks for your feedback Mr. Papa,
I have enabled now the right clicking as it is very hard for me to understand why sociallize.js is loading twice.
What do I have to do to get the guest avatar?
Is there any easy way to create my own sp theme?
Your support will be appreciated.
Thanks

there is a link in my previous post on creating your own sp theme - quite easy...
I dont see it loaded twice right now, so not sure why it was before...
but the guest avatar is due to some other conflict...
<img class="avatar avatar-50 photo avatar-default" width="50" height="50" src="http://retirementtransformation.com/forum/wp-includes/images/blank.gif" alt="">
is the avatar which is quite wrong... definitely the theme or plugin doing something to the image...
do you have a plugin that deals with avatars? or perhaps images?
as reference, what we would output is:
<img width="50" class="spAvatar" alt="" src="https://simple-press.com/wp-content/forum-avatars/guestdefault.png"/>
so something is intercepting our image tags...
