Google translate into header area?

Ive currently got google translator setup as a top widget, but I think it would look much better if it could actually be implemented into the header section along side the other basic controls and functions.

Is this something that would be possible? I can put up me a test site and play around with files, if someone could possible tell me wich file I would need to add the associated translate code into, or would it not be something that simple?

assuming you have a template tag that you can use versus a widget, you can put it where ever you want on the forum page...  Not exactly sure where you mean based on your description, but guessing if you edit your sp theme template file spHead.php and put it in there, it will give you what you want...

as always, be sure to create your own sp theme vice editing ours...  see: http://codex.simple-press.com/.....g-a-theme/

Ok, that seems like the correct file I was looking for, but every time I make an edit its breaking the overall layout of the theme. Maybe ill pass this one off to the guy that customized my theme and see if he can get it.

Thanks

you might need to style it or put some float clears around it...  could help if it was running and available to look at (actual site that is)...

You can't just copy the Google translate code into one of the Simple:Press php files nor just echo it out in one. It can be done but would need editing to work properly without errors.
Once added it can be styled to match your Simple:Press theme.

Something like this.
