Hi, is there any way to show the mentions on a widgetd? would like to put the widget on a sidebar....

The plugin has a template tag that you can use. See http://codex.simple-press.com/.....-mentions/
Of course - if you install one of the small plugins that allow for using php in posts etc., liuke 'WP exec PHP' for example, then you could use the template tag in a text widget.
