Support Forum
I have recently been testing simple-press with a responsive wp theme and the only issue I have found so far is some content gaps when the forum posts get real small (cellular size). Picture is below. Besides making the users stats horizontal on the top of posts instead of the vertical way they are currently displayed is there another route to fix this? Would rather leave them vertical is the reason I'm asking. Thanks for your time.
Well the first thing to say is that we are currently working towards a mobile proper theme although I can't give you a time-frame on when that will be available yet.
But the reason you have that actual display is because the text in the left hand column has become too wide for the column width assigned to it. You can change this in the template (spTopicView.php) in your SP theme folder where you should be able to easily identify the components and see the column widths currently defined. the first would need to be wider. And then the second shrunk down so as not to exceed the overall width.
Another and maybe better way would be to select the 'stacked' theme for the mobile usage which is designed to display that info across the top instead of down the side.
As always we recommend that you create your own SP theme so that any customisation is not lost during a future update. (http://codex.simple-press.com/.....g-a-theme/)

btw... you can fix the issue there but decrementing the width of the post content column in your spTopicView.php template file in the theme you are using... its a percentage so just drop it a bit... would pull the 'white' content area back to top...

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. The columns were set at-
column 1 - 15%
column 2 - 84%
I played with them for a bit and to keep closest to the original look I was able to fix it by changing the columns to-
column 1 - 15%
column 2 - 82%
Anyways, the forum integrated really well with a responsive theme, that was the only real issue I came across
yeah know way we can make a default theme work for all set ups... but with those percentages, you can divvy it up as needed... good work...
the mobile theme we are working will work even better as some less needed elements and icons, will be removed or shifted around... and it will be somewhat responsive with different results on desktops vs tablets vs phones...
