I have been setting up a simple press forum over the last week with no problems. This morning I went to the forum page after signing in as usually but when I clicked on a topic I got a 404 error page with the URL of the forum home page in the URL bar. I was also logged out of wordpress. I would log back in and go to the forum again but when I again clicked on a topic title or even profile tab I would be taken to a 404 page with the forum home page URL and be logged out.
Interestingly enough, I went to the forum using Safari and didn't have this problem at all. I can get to all the pages. I went back to Firefox and cleared the history and cookies and then went to the forum page again..........same thing! I can't get to the forum pages. Instead I am being logged out of wordpress and kicked to a 404 page.
Any ideas what is causing this or why? Thanks, Steve

Ok. So I just tried it again and now it seems to be working again on Firefox. I didn't change anything. Weird. Not sure what was causing that.........

So I had the same problem just now with 404 pages. I had to windows open in Firefox. One for the Admin area and one for the front end of simple press. I was logged in to the admin page and made a change to simple press. I then clicked on the other window I had open to the forum and clicked refresh to see the change. When I clicked on a topic I got a 404 error page. I went back to the admin and when I tried to click on an area I was told I was logged out. Is this normal? I can't have two windows open and be logged in to the admin and forum at the same time? Is Simple Press, My subscription plugin or wordpress logging me out when I switch pages? Any ideas?
