Support Forum
Hi. I just configured a site (with SPF working properly) to be accessible from the root, rather than domain/wp. I did not physically move it, but modified the index.php file and moved that to the root. I also removed /wp from Settings>General>Site Address. Now SPF displays the initial board, but every click results in a 404 error. Also, I cannot open anything in the SPF admin past the first page. It displays an animated matrix graphic (which I presume is the equivalent of the Windows hour glass) and hangs there.
I reinstalled SPF after the move, but the results are the same. Hopefully, there is some easy fix that I am not aware of.
Your help in resolving this would be much appreciated.
P.S.
I just noticed that the URLs that are being generated for the topics, etc. still include the /wp. If I remove that in the browser address bar and hit enter, I can open the topic.
So, I guess I need to know how to have SPF generate the correct URLs, as well as be able to access the SPF admin screens.
Thank you.
