I had 4.5.1 working with my Gantry Framework theme by making the changes to the sf-hooks.php file. I just did the upgrade to 5.0 and right now I'm just getting a blank page when trying to load the forum. Are there any changes I need to make to get 5.0 work with a Gantry theme?

I get no content. You can take a look here:

I've tried searching the 5.0 forums for Gantry without luck. I wasn't specifically calling the hooks file, I had just modified it per the instructions in the thread for 4.5.1. It's like it's not even trying to load the forum.

Have you tried either or both of the two options on the Integration > page and permalink admin panel? (at the bottom - 'multiple' and 'loop')?

I've got the same problem and tried all integration settings.

I just found following error message, I don't know if this has anything to do with the problem:

file: /simple-press/sp-api/sp-api-globals.php
line: 106
function: ini_set
Warning | ini_set() has been disabled for security reasons

No that warning is unimportant.

Can I suggest that one of you guys asks the people at Gantry why the call to 'the_content()' seems to not load the page? This is a very convoluted, over complicated theme and they should know more than I.

Yes, I have also tried all the integration options as well. I am using a free theme, so I don't have support with them. Hopefully someone with support can ask them and get an answer for us. I was hoping there would be a quick fix like there was for 4.5.1, but I guess that isn't going to be the case. I hate to roll back to the old forums, but I guess I might have to for now.

Note: The fickleness of the Gantry Framework really makes me wish I didn't pick it for my site design. It seems to only play nice with their own plugins. I definitely do not blame you all for this. Thanks for working hard to bring us some really nice forum software.

It was to make some changes in the sf-hooks.php file. Here is the thread discussing the fix:

https://simple-press.com/suppo.....ry-for-wp/

The first fix in there fixes the forum display, but breaks the admin control panel. The fix on page 2 resolves it completely and makes it display:
