I screwed up when I upgraded from 4.5.1 to 5.1.4, and wound up with thumbnail images only 100px wide. We had been using 480px. I have the settings in 5.1.4 corrected now.
IIRC, when I did the upgrade one of the first steps was to regenerate the thumbnail images? Is it possible to rerun that script with the current settings and generate a larger set of thumbnail images for the old posts?
I did a theme update at the same time, so I may have the two processes confused.
Thanks!
Afraid we did not and never have generated thumbnails at any time other than when a post is made. Nor - I am sorry to say - do we currently have any scripts to regenerate them..
Any thumbnails created prior to the size change (i.e., the upgrade to V5) will still exist as they did before. The upgrade did not touch them.
So - in theory it would only be those thumbnails created after the upgrade and prior to you correcting the settings that are different. And as I say - sorry - but we have no automatic script you can run. It would be a manual task...
