All went well, or so i thought. But i just noticed a bunch of forum post screen captures i uploaded yesterday lost their default width setting when clicked to expand. Now i have some tall skinny images that are unreadable.
Guess i could delete and re-upload but this site has many others that were not saved after uploading.
Suggestions?

Ha! This is a bit of a case of heads you win, tails I lose.
One of the more common requests regarding the popup images was that they were not constrained within the current viewport or window. This meant that they could be hard to actually look at without a lot of scrolling. In particular horizontal scrolling of course. So it is not that these images are being displayed incorrectly. They are simply being constrained by the available space.
We could probably make this constraint an option and I can certainly investigate that and see what I can do. In the meantime I would suggest you turn off the popup enlargement feature which will allow them to be viewed full size and I will have to get back to you on optionalisation.

And that really sums up the situation. 'Perfectly' for you is the next users 'problem'. 🙂
Hmmmm.. OK, Steve..
But something like a long skinny screen grab needs to expand to it's default width so it can be viewed. I usually re-size them to around 900 pixels wide so the expanded image does not overcrowd the screen width.
If i uninstall and reactivate like the tinymce example in the other thread will the setting go back where they were?

lol. yeah Andy - Yellow Swordfish... Steve = Mr Papa...
this is odd... because the popups were far more likely (and were doing so) to open in an improper format before... improper meaning going off the screen and hard to see or close...
Love how Andy summed it up... cant please em all 😉 whatever we do will leave some happy and some unhappy - nature of the business...
but I can say, for the masses, this will be much better...
please see if Andy's email helps you...

lol. see what we mean?  wouldnt want images opening like that for me! the popup 'should' fit into a single window... If you want it larger, it 'should' open in a new broswer tab/window... popups are 'supposed' to fit in single window view with no scrolling... but should and supposed to are standards - which wont please everyone...
