I can think of 2 possible reasons.
The first would be that you have written some custom code that makes use of this function in which case we can tell you how to change your code as needed.
The second reason would be that you have updated your core Simple:Press but have not upgraded any plugins you are using and if that is the case then you really do need to do this as there are a lot of dependencies.
So - either of those?

The updating plugin was the fix, I am confused how this even bypassed me

Thank you. And that is good news. We took the opportunity in 5.3.1 to deal with some old leftover functions and variables that needed changing so it involved a large number of unusual plugin dependencies. Sadly, the WP Updater has no facility to deal with dependencies so we understand why it can be easy to miss...

Yeah no problem.
Moving from Invision has been a big shock to the system but it's feeling better.
I also see you included the fix for the Invision Scheme which is great to see!

i was hesitant about the importer fix but went with it. To be honest we do not get that many converts from Invision and the original importer was partly written by a user. As an Invision user until recently, my wife reports they seem to change their schema every now and then so I am hoping your schema change is the more up to date.

Seems to be working well on a Samsung Tablet 2 as well.
Have noticed that when you open a graphic to view that the X button in the top corner is showing 1 and a half X's
