Support Forum
I just tried posting to the member forum on my site, http://creativeignitionclub.com, and I got a "502 Bad Gateway nginx" error.
I just moved my site to premium hosting with Synthesis, which also involved switching from Headway theme to Genesis theme, so lots of things have changed. Do you have any idea why I might be getting this error?
I've also posted a support ticket with my host.
Thanks,
Melissa
Well, I got the "502 Bad Gateway nginx" error again today. And now, out of the blue, my forums are totally broken:
When you click "Add Topic" you get a subject line, but no body text field.
When you click "Add Reply" to an existing post, you get NEITHER a subject line NOR the body text field.
This forum is running WishList Member, and I've been having lots of problems with WL Tags plugin, so I deactivated that plugin, but the problems persist.

Thanks for any help you can offer. My members are getting very annoyed with the forums continually breaking.
Okay, so that was in Chrome (on a Mac). Now I just tried posting again, a reply, in Firefox, and when I clicked "Submit Reply" I just got a blank white page with a weird URL in the browser field:
http://creativeignitionclub.co.....aa3c64b401
When I click back in the browser, it takes me back to the post I was trying to reply to, and if I click "Add Reply," my reply text is still there. But when I try to submit it, again it takes me to a blank white page.
I tried reposting the reply again, this time without tagging someone using WL Tags, and it worked fine.
??
There are probably two things here so I will deal with the editor issues first.
There was/is a bad bug in Wishlist Tags that destroys the editor (tinyMCE) settings in SP. We have been working closely with the author of the WL plugin to get this fixed and have put in some special code for them. We are ready to release this update but we are waiting to hear from the WL author about when they will be ready to release theirs. I can try and push our release forward but both updates will be needed for the bug to be resolved.
What that has to do with your blank page I am unsure. i would have thought this was more to do with your 502 and on that front I think you need to re-address this with your hosting support.
