Support Forum
I am using SP v5.3.4 and WP v3.7.1. When clicking on some last post links for a forum on our main page I am getting "Access Denied". If I click into the forum and then click on the topic all posts appear fine. I am logged in as an administrator. Is there a permission that I am missing somewhere? Please let me know if you need more info. Thanks.
Figured out what's causing the issue.
For posts that were migrated the last post link ends with something like
[topic-name]/page-2805#p70114.
If I add a new post an then delete it, the same last post link as before now ends with
[topic-name]#p70114
Is there a quick way to fix these last post links without having to manually add and then delete a new post in each topic?
Thanks.
We do not store the urls of individual posts and topics - these are all dynamically generated and are based on (a) the WordPress site permalink structure and (b) the WordPress page object being used to display the forum data.
So - first up - check the permalink for your site (WP Admin > Settings > Permalinks) to make sure it is as you want it and then go to the forum admin > Integration > Page and Permalink to make sure the correct page is selected at the top. Update this and then click on the 'update forum permalink' button. Let us see if this resolves things...

I checked as you suggested and everything is correct.
When I click on the page number under the topic link on the left it works correctly:
[topic-name]/page-2
If I click the Last Post link from the main page or the arrow link on the far right within the forum I get the following url:
[topic-name]/page-2805#p70114
If I change this to the following it works correctly:
[topic-name]/page-2#p70114
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
could you try going to forum - toolbox - housekeeping and resetting the forum indexes?

New SimplePress user and have a similar issue after migrating existing forums from Xoops. Receiving the following message when clicking certain links:
Access denied - you do not have permission to view this page
One such topic shows that it has 53 posts included within 3 pages and when clicking into page 1 presents the user with a total of 2 posts. Clicking into any other pages presents the error. Any ideas besides what was discussed previously in this thread?
