Well it just gets more and more curious! Nothing special about that version.
Do you know how to make changes in the database tables directly - using phpMyAdmin for example?
If so could you alter the column 'poster_ip' in the 'sfposts' table to allow nulls - and/or give it a default value of zero?
If you don't want to do this I can knock up a quick script you could run in phpMyAdmin instead...

This worked like a charm! Thank you very much 
But there is some issue here in this forum, i couldn´t choose "Add reply", i had to use "Quote" to reply to to this thread, just thought i´d mention it

can you explain further? we get hundreds of posts a day, so the reply is working and no one else has mentioned any difficulty...
